About

This is a group blog formerly known as God is for Suckers! For awhile now we have discussed changing the name of the site to something that was less offensive to visitors who may be questioning their faith and wanting to have honest dialogue with us non-believers.  With more and more people able to access our site via the many search engines and now Twitter, we also wanted a name that would be taken more seriously.

God is for Suckers! has often been called by some of our regulars as an “oasis”, a place where we can come together with fellow atheists and agnostics and discuss politics, separation of church and state, the attempts by the religious to force their superstitious beliefs into our secular government, or to simply discuss how experiences with religious family members, friends and co-workers have affected our lives in general.

While our name has changed, and we have a new website, this is  still a place where we atheists and agnostics can come together to discuss news, political issues, continue to watchdog the religious right, or just plain rant about the stupidity of religion and its effects in the world in which we live.

We look forward to many more years of good discussion at our new home with our old friends, and hope to make many more new friends, as well.

Would it be possible for you to import and reopen “The troubled genius of Phillip K. Dick” by KA from God Is For Suckers? Thank you.

While the archives of God is for Suckers are closed forever, I will ask KA if he is willing to copy and repost this piece here at AO.
